Robert Jacobsen et Jean Clareboudt, Rencontre de deux générations
Robert Jacobsen presents 21 sculptures from the series Thèmes chinois (1984-1987). Jean Clareboudt displays three monumental works, brand-new pieces (in iron, stone, and glass), and his project for Torskind (Egtved, Denmark). Ateliers en liberté: 17 artistes danois
While Danish art from the 50s and 60s, through the presence of Danish artists in Paris, was widely known, the same cannot be said of the current generation. As part of “Ateliers en liberté,” seventeen young artists have been selected in collaboration with Helle Behrndt: Peter Bonde & Claus Cartensen, Lars Dan, Erik A. Frandsen, Lone Hoyer-Hansen, Berit Jensen, Anita Jørgensen, Frans Kannik, Pontus Kjerramn, Michael Kvium, Christian Lemmerz, Kehnet Nielsen, Lars Nørgård, Lars Ravn, Nina Sten-Knudsen, Mikael Thejll, Elisabeth Toubro.
Alain Bizos, Portraits
The Fondation Cartier has asked photographer Alain Bizos to create a “report” on the exhibit: nineteen color portraits of the artists, mostly taken in Denmark.
