Dream portraits

Inspired by Graciela Iturbide’s portraits, particularly those of the Seri tribe in the Sonoran Desert and of women of Juchitán, children will pose with an array of objects representing Mexican culture and photograph themselves in a photo studio especially designed for this workshop. Each child will be both the stager and subject of their own portrait, exploring dreams, festivals, symbols and imagination.
