About the publication
In 2006, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain presented the most remarkable works in its collection at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo (MOT). Artists such as Nan Goldin, Raymond Depardon, Chéri Samba, and James Coleman were presented via sometimes monumental installations, such as Marc Newson’s Kelvin 40 airplane. Recounting over twenty years of very special patronage, the exhibition covered the multiple fields of painting, sculpture, cinema, video, and design.
