Fragilisme

The exhibition Fragilisme presented at the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain in 2002 was constructed around an unexpected meeting between Alessandro Mendini, Vincent Beaurin, and Fabrice Domercq. Each developed their own path around a conception of shared exchanges, dialogues, and proposals.
The catalog, like the exhibition, is constructed around thoughts on the ethereal and the magical. The artists favored a random image layout, resulting in an astonishing juxtaposition that creates confrontations and shifts to and fro between artistic worlds. A book that affords a funny, lighthearted, poetic, and colorful vision of the fragility of all things.
