The Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain is pleased to present the exhibition The Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain by Jean Nouvel, on the occasion of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia.

As part of the Collateral Events of the Biennale Architettura 2025, this groundbreaking exhibition, hosted at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, unveils the innovative design concepts imagined by Jean Nouvel for the Fondation Cartier’s futures spaces.

New publication

Raymond Depardon, Désert

This new publication traces, in 250 black-and-white photographs, the desert as seen by Raymond Depardon through 60 years of political reporting, photographic commissions, film shoots, and personal explorations in North Africa and the Middle East. Eleven countries, their landscapes, peoples, and conflicts, immortalized in black and white by a legend of photojournalism.

On the occasion of the Rencontres d’Arles, the Fondation Cartier is offering, on Tuesday, July 8 at 4 p.m. at the École nationale supérieure de la photographie, a conversation with Raymond Depardon and Kamel Daoud hosted by Stéphane Paoli, followed by a signing of this new book.
